If this is your first visit, a little history lesson will catch you up. We started as a print fanzine 14 years ago. This is our sixth year as an online "Rockzine".
The Cutting Edge (TCE) first printed in Rochester, New York in 1989. It became very popular among the local haunts and rock clubs. By 1992 the TCE moved to Philadelphia and spread to a larger fan base. We now operate out of Reno, NV. We survived the slog through grunge, the decade of Divas and the sleazy marketing of powder-puff metal. Still we hang on looking, supporting and resurrecting the best in guitar-fueled rock. We’re part of the old with a foot in the new and always looking to the future.
